Who we are

WaveMusicApp (“Wave”, “we”) operates this site. This policy describes what we store when you browse, sign in, play music, or see a banner on an original page. It is written for listeners and for advertising partners who require a public privacy page.

What we collect

Account: email, handle, password hash, plan, and whether you asked to hide ads. Passwords are stored hashed, not in plain text.
Library: likes, playlists, follows, comments, and listening history tied to your account so they follow you across devices.
Device preferences: language, onboarding “already seen”, player color, and similar flags in this browser’s storage.
Earnings activity: banner impressions and listens used only to compute your BDC share. We do not sell that log.
Payments: if you buy Plus or Creator, the processor (card or crypto) sees the charge. We store plan status and invoice state, not your full card number.

Advertising

On original pages we may load Google AdSense and HighRevenueFormat tags. Those companies can set cookies or advertising identifiers to measure and, where allowed, personalize ads. Ads do not run on album, track, artist, radio, or YouTube playback screens. You can use a signed-in Plus/Creator plan that hides banners, or industry opt-outs such as Google’s Ads Settings.

Third-party media

Charts and 30-second clips come from Apple and Spotify public APIs. Official videos play inside a YouTube embed. Those services have their own privacy policies. Wave does not upload your library to them.

Retention and your choices

Account data stays until you ask us to delete it or the operator removes the account. You can stop using the site, sign out, or clear this browser’s storage at any time. To request deletion of a signed-in account, use You and contact the operator from that session.

Children

Wave is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
