Tilian

Tilian Pearson (born July 12, 1987), also known mononymously as Tilian, is an American singer-songwriter and musician born in Clearwater, Florida. He is the clean vocalist in American rock band Dance Gavin Dance and former lead vocalist in rock band Tides of Man. Pearson began his musical career in 2007 founding the American rock band Tides of Man. He released one extended play (EP) and two studio albums with the band on Rise Records before departing in December 2010. Pearson formed the short-lived post-hardcore band Archives, with members of Night Verses. In 2011 and 2012, he wrote and recorded material with American rock bands Emarosa and Saosin following the departure of their respective lead singers. In August 2012, Pearson became the clean vocalist for the post-hardcore band Dance Gavin Dance and has since released four full-length studio albums; Acceptance Speech (2013), Instant Gratification (2015), Mothership (2016), and Artificial Selection (2018), three stand-alone singles, and one live album; Tree City Sessions (2016), with the group on Rise Records. Pearson also pursues a solo music career having released three studio albums; Material Me (2013), Perfect Enemy (2015), and The Skeptic (2018) and two EPs; Future Friends (2014) and Patient (2017). He has collaborated with various other musical groups including Our Last Night, I the Mighty, and Stolas.
